Lithuania is a land of magnificent landscapes, plains and hills, magnificent forests, abundant lakes and mysterious primeval forests. For more than a thousand years, we have been pronouncing the name \u201cLithuania\u201d, proud of our sonorous language and continuing to write our country\u2019s history.<\/p>\n
The \u201cLietuva\u201d product line created by the \u201cR\u016bta\u201d confectionery factory is designed to represent our country. As many as 6 products in this line have been renewed in the last year: 3 chocolate collections, chocolate map of Lithuania, chocolate and sweets. One of the most impressive products of the confectionery factory is the \u201cLietuva\u201d chocolate collection, which features 27 distinctive flavours in 72 handmade chocolates. Inside the box, a mini-book with photographs of the chocolates and the names of the chocolates will make it easier to choose your flavour and enjoy the chocolate.<\/p>\n
But the most important mission of the chocolate collection \u201cLietuva\u201d is to contribute to the reforestation and reduction of CO2 emissions in Lithuania. In cooperation with the National Foundation for the Support of Untouchable Forests, we will plant 1 tree for every purchase of the \u201cLietuva\u201d collection of chocolates. In 2022, almost 3,000 collections of chocolate \u201cLietuva\u201d were purchased, thus 3,000 trees will be planted this spring!<\/p>\n
Remigijus Lapinskas, the founder of the Untouchable Forest Foundation, aims to plant 3 million trees by 2050 \u2013 about one for every Lithuanian. That is why the \u201cR\u016bta\u201d confectionery factory is delighted to be able to contribute to this initiative. It is also important to note that the foundation is committed to protecting the planted trees: the funds raised are used to plant trees on land owned by the foundation, so that they cannot be cut down for commercial purposes.<\/p>\n
